OCRV Center performs full RV roof replacements in our Yorba Linda shop, tearing off the failed membrane, repairing the decking and structure underneath, and installing new EPDM, TPO, or fiberglass. Full replacements run from about $5,000 to $18,000 depending on length and any substrate repair.
When a roof is failing across the whole surface, repeated patches cost more over time than starting over, and a full replacement is the honest fix. We strip the roof to the decking, repair or replace any rotted plywood and framing, and lay a new membrane or fiberglass cap from the front cap to the rear. All work is in-shop only at our Yorba Linda facility.
What a full roof replacement includes
A real roof replacement is more than a new membrane. We remove every roof-mounted component, the AC, vents, fans, antenna, and racks, tear off the old membrane and any failed decking, and inspect the framing underneath. Then we rebuild the substrate, install the new roofing material, and reset every component on fresh seals so the new roof goes back together watertight.
We replace in the material that suits the coach: a new EPDM or TPO rubber membrane, or a fiberglass cap on rigs built with one. Because the roof is off, this is also the right time to correct any framing or insulation issue that the old roof was hiding.

Why this is in-shop, structural work
Stripping a roof exposes the coach to weather and the structure to inspection, so it has to be done under cover with the rig dry and supported. Doing it in the shop means we can take the time to dry the structure, cure adhesives and laminate properly, and reset every penetration correctly instead of racing the next rain.
Once a membrane is brittle or cracked across the roof, patch after patch just chases the failure. A full replacement resets the roof to one continuous, sealed surface, and any water damage the old roof caused gets restored at the same time so you are not paying for it twice.
