Inside, reconditioning resets the surfaces daily use wears down. Should I detail my RV before selling it?+
Absolutely. A clean, oxidation free rig with a fresh interior photographs better and supports a stronger asking price than one that looks tired. Reconditioning before a sale is one of the highest return things you can do, and Chino sellers bring it to our Yorba Linda shop before they list.
What is the difference between detailing and paint correction?+
Detailing cleans, decontaminates, and protects the surface, while paint correction removes defects from the paint or gelcoat with compound and polish. A detail masks light swirls for a while, but correction levels them permanently. Reconditioning often includes an oxidation removal stage, and we step up to correction when a finish needs it.
Can you remove oxidation and restore a faded RV finish?+
Yes. Chalky, faded gelcoat responds to a clay and oxidation removal stage that clears the dead layer, followed by polish to bring back depth and a sealant to hold it. If the gelcoat is worn through, refinishing is the better route.
