RV Leveling and Suspension Upgrades

The short answer

We service leveling systems and install suspension, stability, and towing upgrades in shop. We do not perform engine or drivetrain work.

Ballpark: $400 to $5,500

A rig that parks dead level and tows without wandering is safer to drive and easier to live in. OCRV Center services leveling jacks and fits suspension, stability, and mounting upgrades for Chino owners at our Yorba Linda shop. This is bolt-on and structural work on the chassis, running gear, and body mounts, never engine, transmission, or drivetrain repair.

Leveling jacks and suspension installs

Leveling trouble usually traces to a jack, actuator, control board, or sensor, so we diagnose the whole system before replacing parts. We repair hydraulic and electric jacks, recalibrate auto-level, and fit ride upgrades that steady a heavy coach: air bags, helper springs, sway bars, shocks, and steering stabilizers. Every component is install and upgrade work, matched to the chassis and its rated loads.

  • Hydraulic and electric leveling jack repair
  • Auto-level control and sensor calibration
  • Air bag and helper spring installs
  • Sway bar and steering stabilizer upgrades
  • Leaf spring, shock, and bushing replacement

Towing, hitch, and mount fabrication

Where the running gear meets the body, worn or undersized mounts show up as sag, sway, and cracked brackets, so we fabricate and reinforce them in steel. We install weight-distribution, fifth-wheel, and gooseneck hitches, build and gusset receiver mounts, and repair corroded chassis members and body brackets. Towing mirrors and trailer wiring are fitted at the same time to keep the setup clean.

  • Weight-distribution hitch install
  • Fifth-wheel and gooseneck hitch install
  • Receiver mount fabrication and reinforcement
  • Chassis member and body-mount repair
  • Towing mirror and trailer wiring fitment
Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you do engine or transmission work with this?+

No. This service covers leveling, suspension, hitch, and mounting install and upgrade work only. Engine, transmission, and drivetrain repair are outside our scope, so we focus on the chassis, running gear, and body mounts.

Can you fix leveling jacks that will not retract?+

Yes. Stuck jacks usually come down to a failed actuator, solenoid, control board, or sensor. We diagnose the hydraulic or electric system, replace the failed parts, and recalibrate the auto-level so all four corners cycle correctly.

Will air bags help with sag and sway when towing?+

Yes. Air bags and helper springs level a loaded rig, while sway bars and steering stabilizers calm the ride. We size the kit to your chassis and rated load, then install and set it in shop.
