Can hail damage on an RV be fixed with paintless dent repair?+
Often yes on the body panels, as long as the paint is intact and the dents are smooth. Roof and cap hail damage usually needs conventional repair because of the panel construction. We inspect the damage with your insurance claim and recommend the right approach.
When does a dent need filler instead of PDR?+
Once the metal is creased, stretched, or the paint has cracked, paintless work cannot bring the panel fully flat. At that point we use filler and refinish to rebuild the shape and blend the color. We assess each dent first and pick the method that gives the best result for the cost.
