RV Cap and Sidewall Repair and Replacement

The short answer

We replace damaged front, rear, and roof caps and repair sidewall panels and skins in shop, restoring both the look and the structure.

Ballpark: $1,500 to $20,000+

Caps and sidewalls take the worst of a collision, a low clearance hit, or years of road and weather. OCRV Center replaces front, rear, and roof caps and repairs sidewall panels and skins in shop, matching the original contour in fiberglass or aluminum and restoring the structure underneath, not just the surface.

Front and rear cap replacement

Damaged caps removed and replaced to the original contour and fit. Chino owners bring coaches with cracked, caved, or sun-checked caps to our Yorba Linda shop, where we template the contour, fit the new cap in fiberglass or aluminum, and align it to the roof and sidewall seams before any paint goes on.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can you replace a cracked or caved-in front cap?+

Yes. We remove the damaged cap, repair the structure behind it, and fit a new cap matched to your coach, then paint and reintegrate the trim and lights.

Do you repair the structure or just the panel?+

Both. We repair the frame and substrate behind the panel so the fix is sound, then restore the skin and finish on top.

Will you document cap and sidewall damage for my claim?+

Yes. We photograph and document the damage and the repair so the insurance claim reflects the full scope.

Will a new cap match the shape and paint of my coach?+

Yes. We template the original contour so the replacement sits flush with the roof and sidewalls, then paint and blend it into the surrounding panels. On older coaches we can fabricate a fiberglass mold when a factory cap is no longer available.
