Custom Paint and Graphics in Chino

The short answer

OCRV Center designs and sprays custom paint, graphics, stripes, and decal replacement on RVs and specialty vehicles in our Yorba Linda booth. All work is in-shop only, from refreshing faded factory swooshes to laying multi stage custom finishes.

Ballpark: $500 to $35,000+

Custom paint and graphics is where refinishing becomes design. Whether you want to restore the original factory graphics that have faded or cracked, add new stripes and accents, or commission a one off custom finish, we lay it out, mask it, and spray it in shop so the edges are crisp and the color holds up. Everything happens at our Yorba Linda facility.

Custom paint and graphics we offer

From a simple stripe refresh to a full custom design, every graphic is laid out, masked, and either sprayed and cleared or applied as vinyl, depending on the look you want and how long it needs to last.

  • Factory graphic and stripe replacement that matches the original layout
  • New custom stripes, accents, and two tone designs
  • Multi stage finishes including metallic, pearl, and candy effects
  • Sprayed and masked graphics with crisp, sealed edges
  • Decal and lettering replacement on coaches and specialty vehicles

Sprayed graphics versus vinyl

Some designs are best sprayed and some are best done in vinyl, and we are honest about which fits your rig and budget. Sprayed graphics are masked and painted into the finish, then cleared over, so there is no edge to peel and nothing to lift in the sun. Vinyl and decals go faster and cost less, and they are the right answer for lettering and frequently changed graphics.

When we spray a custom design, the layout is masked by hand, color is built in stages, and clear coat goes over the whole panel so the graphic is sealed under the same finish as the base. That is what keeps a sprayed stripe from cracking or lifting years later.

Restoring faded factory graphics

Original RV graphics are usually painted swooshes or applied decals that chalk, crack, and peel after years in the sun while the surrounding paint is still sound. We can recreate the original layout in fresh color, or redesign it entirely, and blend the new work into the existing finish so the coach looks factory again or better.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can you recreate the faded or peeling graphics on my RV?+

Yes. We can match and recreate the original factory layout in fresh paint or new decals, or redesign the graphics entirely. We lay out the design, mask and spray or apply it, and blend it into the surrounding finish so it reads factory again. All of this is done in shop at our Yorba Linda facility.

Should I get sprayed graphics or vinyl decals?+

It depends on the design and how long you want it to last. Sprayed graphics are masked and cleared into the paint so there is no edge to peel, which suits permanent stripes and accents. Vinyl and decals are faster and more affordable, and they are the better call for lettering or graphics you may change later. We will recommend the right approach for your rig.

Do you do custom multi stage finishes like candy and pearl?+

Yes. We spray metallic, pearl, and candy style multi stage finishes in our downdraft booth, building the effect in layers and sealing it under clear. Because these finishes are demanding and unforgiving, we do them in a controlled booth in shop rather than anywhere else.
