OCRV Center removes the old wiper, bulb, and D-seals, preps the channels, and installs correctly sized profiles so the room seals against the sidewall in both positions. ## The seals that surround a slide room A slide does not use one gasket, it uses a stack of them working together. Wiper seals (often called sweep or fin seals) ride against the room as it moves and keep the bulk of the water out. Bulb seals compress between the room and the opening when the slide is closed and form the main weather barrier. D-seals and corner gaskets handle the geometry where the wall meets the floor and roof of the opening. Because each profile does a different job, we match the replacement to the original cross-section and durometer instead of fitting whatever is on the shelf.
