Every step happens in shop at our Yorba Linda facility. ## What a full repaint covers A complete repaint is mostly prep. We mask glass, trim, and seals, scuff or strip the existing finish, address surface defects and old delamination repairs, and prime the bare and feathered areas so the new color lays down even. Only then does the rig go into the booth for color and clear. - Full strip or scuff sand of the existing finish to a sound base - Body filler, fairing, and primer on imperfections and prior repairs - Single stage, base and clear, metallic, or multi stage refinish - Color sanding and machine buffing for a deep, even gloss - Reseal and reinstall trim, lights, and badges after cure ## Why a booth matters on a big coach Painting a 40 foot motorhome outside or in an open bay invites dust, bugs, and overspray into the clear. Our downdraft booth pulls air down and out so contaminants stay out of the wet film, and controlled temperature lets the clear flow and cure correctly. That is the difference between a finish that mirrors and one that looks rolled on. Because the panels are tall and the color often wraps a cap or a slide, we plan the spray sequence so there is no visible lap line. A full coach repaint is a multi week project because of the prep, masking, spray, and cure time involved on that much surface. We give you a realistic timeline up front based on the length of the rig and the scope, and we keep you updated as it moves from prep through the booth to final buff. ### Should I do a full repaint or just touch up faded areas? If only a panel or two is faded or damaged, a spot repair and blend is usually the smarter spend. A full repaint makes sense when the finish is failing across the whole rig, the color no longer matches after past repairs, or you want a color change. We look at the actual condition and tell you honestly which path fits. ### Do you paint the RV at my location?
