# RV Awning Repair and Replacement in Chino

> OCRV Center repairs and replaces RV awning fabric, arms, and motors in Chino across Carefree, Dometic, and Solera systems. Most awning jobs run from $400 for fabric to $3,500 for arm and motor work.

Awnings take wind and sun abuse and tend to fail at one of three points: the fabric, the arms, or the motor. A tear or a bent arm can jam the assembly so it will not roll out or retract. We repair and replace patio awnings and slide toppers across the major brands. Chino owners bring awning work to our Yorba Linda shop.

## Fabric, arms, and motor

Most awning repairs come down to which part gave out. Sun-rotted or torn fabric is the most common and often the only thing that needs replacing. Bent or seized arms follow wind or a travel mishap, and powered awnings add a motor, sensor, and control board that can fail on their own. We diagnose the part at fault rather than replacing the whole unit.

- Fabric replacement on manual and powered awnings
- Bent and seized arm repair or replacement
- Motor and gearbox replacement on powered units
- Wind sensor and control board repair
- Spring tension reset for smooth roll up

## Patio awnings and slide toppers

Not every awning shades the patio. Slide toppers are the small awnings that ride over each slide room to keep debris and water off the slide roof, and they wear out on their own schedule. We handle both, matching fabric and hardware to the brand on your coach so the replacement fits the roller and arms.

- Patio awning repair and full replacement
- Slide topper fabric and roller replacement
- Carefree, Dometic, and Solera systems
- Manual and powered awning service
- Hardware matched to the existing assembly

## Frequently asked questions

### Can you replace just the awning fabric or do I need the whole unit?

If the arms and motor are sound, we replace just the fabric, the most common and most affordable fix. If the arms are bent or the motor is failing, we repair those instead. We only recommend a full replacement when the whole assembly is worn out.

### Do you repair slide toppers as well as patio awnings?

Yes. Slide toppers are the small awnings over each slide room, and they wear out from sun and debris like a patio awning. We replace topper fabric and rollers and service patio awnings on the same visit at our Yorba Linda shop.

### My powered awning will not retract, can you fix it?

Usually yes. A powered awning that will not move is often a motor, sensor, or control board fault rather than the fabric or arms. We test the electrical side, find the part that failed, and repair it so the awning rolls out and retracts as it should.
